d'Arnaud's HR sounds like it breaks stadium

Was that thunder?

October 7th, 2020

After seven up-and-down seasons with the Mets, Travis d'Arnaud has somehow transformed into an offensive monster this year with the Braves. He had nine home runs, 34 RBIs and a .321/.386/.533 slash line during the regular season and, during the postseason, has only continued mashing at the plate: He went 3-for-3 in NLDS Game 1 on Tuesday with a homer and four RBIs, and in Game 2 on Wednesday, he went deep once again.

And that home run -- that home run may have broken part of Minute Maid Park.

Was that the Minute Maid Park train that's stationed above the left-field wall? If it was running, it's probably not running anymore.

Honestly, we shouldn't be surprised, this isn't the first time d'Arnaud has tried to destroy ballpark amenities with his playoff dingers.
