MINNEAPOLIS -- The Twins announced their home schedule for 2018 Spring Training, including their first workouts for pitchers and catchers on Feb. 14 and their home opener at Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers, Fla., on Feb. 25 against the Rays.
Twins pitchers and catchers will report on Feb. 13, and the first full-squad workout is Feb. 19, with the balance of the club reporting on Feb. 18. The first exhibition game will be on Feb. 22 against the University of Minnesota at 5:05 p.m. CT.
The Spring Training schedule includes 33 games, including 17 at the CenturyLink Sports Complex. The Twins host the Red Sox four times (Feb. 27, March 10, 14 and 25), the Cardinals on Feb. 26, the Yankees on March 22, the Blue Jays on March 2, the Pirates on Minnesota Day on March 4 and the Astros on March 23.
Minnesota's final Grapefruit League home game is on March 25 before heading to Baltimore for Opening Day on March 29. The Spring Training road schedule will be announced at a later date.
