In a corresponding move for the D-backs, outfielder Yasmany Tomas (right groin tendinitis) was transferred from the 10-day disabled list to the 60-day DL.

Moya was ranked the No. 25 prospect in the D-backs' system per MLBPipeline.com, and he has worked exclusively as a reliever since 2014. He has excelled so far in '17, posting a 0.82 ERA and 68 strikeouts in 43 2/3 innings for Double-A Jackson. Moya has gone 17-for-17 in save opportunities as Jackson's closer.

Murphy's Minnesota tenure comes to an end after a disappointing showing in 2016, hitting .146/.193/.220 in 90 plate appearances, and a '17 season spent exclusively at Triple-A Rochester. Acquired prior to 2016 in a trade with the Yankees for Aaron Hicks, the 26-year-old is currently hitting .222 with a .628 OPS for Rochester.
