Twins' center fielder replaced by Rosario in second inning

TORONTO -- is heading to the disabled list after a first-inning miscue forced the center fielder from Sunday afternoon's 9-6 loss to the Blue Jays.
Santana and were both chasing a fly ball off the bat of when they collided in left-center field. Santana suffered an AC joint sprain in his left shoulder and is heading back to Minnesota to be re-evaluated.
The Twins have selected the contract of outfielder from Triple-A Rochester, and the 29-year-old will join the club on Monday in Cleveland.
"We talked about the other day our communication with balls in the air, priority positions and people we need to take charge," Twins manager Paul Molitor said. "I know it's a loud park, but you'd like to think that ball would be caught."

Schafer is hitting .264 with seven doubles, four home runs and 19 RBIs in 64 games with the Red Wings this season.
Originally a third-round pick of the Brewers, Schafer appeared in 69 games with Milwaukee last season hitting .221 with six doubles, a home run and six RBIs. He has yet to appear in a Major League game this season.
