Prince, who was born in Minneapolis, passed away on April 21 at the age of 57.

Prior to Monday's game, the Twins held a moment of silence and displayed purple across the scoreboard and video boards. The team also released doves from the mound as part of the pregame ceremony. During the contest, each Twins player walked up to the plate to a song by Prince.

The Twins capped off the day's Prince celebration with a walk-off victory in the ninth inning, when Oswaldo Arcia belted a leadoff home run against Cleveland's Zach McAllister.
