Twins Recall Turley; Option Boshers

The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have recalled left-handed pitcher Nik Turley from Triple-A Rochester.

The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have recalled left-handed pitcher Nik Turley from Triple-A Rochester. Turley appeared in 16 games (10 starts) for the Red Wings this season, going 5-4 with a 2.83 ERA (63.2 IP, 20 ER), 21 walks and 76 strikeouts. Additionally, he made two appearances (1 start) for the Twins earlier this season, allowing 17 runs in 9.1 innings pitched.
To make room for Turley on the 25-man roster, the Twins have optioned left-handed pitcher Buddy Boshers to Triple-A Rochester. Boshers appeared in 27 games for the Twins this season, posting a 5.16 ERA (29.2 IP, 17 ER).
Turley will be available to pitch in game two of today's doubleheader with the Indians.
