The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced Friday that two Minor League players have been suspended following their violations of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
Atlanta Braves Minor League pitcher Carlos Caminero, who is currently on the roster of the rookie-level Dominican Summer League Braves, has received a 25-game suspension without pay for a violation of the Program.
Cincinnati Reds Minor League outfielder Nate Scantlin, who is currently on the roster of the Single-A Dayton Dragons of the Midwest League, has received a 50-game suspension without pay following a second positive test for a drug of abuse in violation of the Program.
