Vladimir Guerrero Jr. continues to light the Minor League Baseball world on fire. The Blue Jays' No. 1 prospect, and the No. 3 overall prospect according to MLB Pipeline, turned in a monster performance at the plate during Double-A New Hampshire's 10-2 victory over Portland on Monday. The 19-year-old son of Hall-of-Fame right fielder Vladimir Guerrero launched two homers and drove in five runs.
How Blue Jays' prospects fared on Monday

Even before the younger Guerrero belted the two homers -- one of which hit a hotel beyond the left-field wall at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium -- he had already demonstrated his prodigious power prior to the game by hitting a baseball off a tee over the fence while shooting a Play Ball segment with MLB Network's Carlos Pena.

"Did you see that?!" Pena asked the cameraman. "That's not normal. That's off a tee."

Guerrero is currently on a 12-game hitting streak (batting .468 over that span), has had multiple hits in eight of his last 11 games, and in those 11 games has driven in 20 runs. Overall, he's batting .398 (best in Double-A and fourth-best in the Minors) this season, and slugging .673 with five homers in 25 games.
