Buehler threw five scoreless innings Monday against the Marlins in his first Major League start, then was optioned to Class A Advanced Rancho Cucamonga in a procedural move so he would be nearby for the club to bring him up as the 26th man for the doubleheader.

Buehler is the top-ranked prospect in the Dodgers' organization and the 12th overall, according to MLB Pipeline.
