Team to watch
Double-A Frisco features two Top 100 Prospects in right-hander Jack Leiter and infielder Ezequiel Duran, will add a third in second baseman Justin Foscue once he recovers from a sore back and has a fourth player -- first baseman/outfielder Dustin Harris -- who just missed the list. Left-hander Cody Bradford is one of the more polished pitchers in the system, while righty Zak Kent possesses its most wicked slider.

New faces
The No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 Draft, Leiter will make one of the most anticipated pro pitching debuts in recent years when he starts for Frisco on Saturday. Venezuelan outfielder Anthony Gutierrez, who signed for $1,997,500 in January, likely will break into pro ball in the Rookie-level Dominican Summer League in June.

On the shelf
Texas' top position prospect, third baseman Josh Jung, had surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left (non-throwing) shoulder in February and may be able to DH in August. Foscue should join Frisco in the near future. Right-hander Dane Acker is recovering from Tommy John surgery last May.
