Team to watch
First-rounder (2016) Cody Sedlock, left-hander Keegan Akin (second round) and outfielder Austin Hays (third round) will all make the jump to Class A Advanced Frederick for their full-season debuts, completely bypassing Delmarva after impressing last summer in the New York-Penn League. They'll be joined by 2015 first-rounder Ryan Mountcastle as well as third baseman Jomar Reyes, who struggled in his first tour of the Carolina League last season at age 19. In total, eight of the Baltimore's Top 30 prospects are ticketed for Frederick.

New faces
The Orioles added to their rotation depth with the acquisition of Gabriel Ynoa from the Mets in early February, and the 23-year-old righty nearly cracked the Opening Day roster before ultimately being optioned to Norfolk. Meanwhile, the club is confident it can keep Anthony Santander on the active roster all year after nabbing the 22-year-old outfielder from the Indians' system in the Rule 5 Draft.
On the shelf
Santander had offseason shoulder surgery and was unable to play the outfield this spring, even before landing on the 10-day disabled list with a forearm strain. 2013 first-rounder Hunter Harvey, who underwent Tommy John surgery last July, has begun a throwing program and should return to the mound later in the season (either in July or August), and right-hander Branden Kline, 25, will resume his throwing program in several weeks following an arthroscopic procedure on his throwing elbow.
