Team to watch

Low-A San Jose is loaded with 10 of the Giants' Top 30 Prospects, including their best in electrifying shortstop Marco Luciano. He leads an exciting contingent of young Latin American hitters that also includes outfielders Luis Matos and Alexander Canario plus third baseman Luis Toribio. Most of San Francisco's 2020 draftees will make their pro debuts in San Jose, including left-handers Kyle Harrison (third round) and Nick Swiney (supplemental second), third baseman Casey Schmitt (second) and shortstop Jimmy Glowenke (supplemental second). First baseman Garrett Frechette could be about to take off and catcher Ricardo Genoves is a solid defender.
