CHICAGO -- Jose Quintana will likely not be the last White Sox player to make his final appearance with the club this month, something that is apparent in the clubhouse.
Just ask Todd Frazier, the veteran third baseman who, as a free agent after this season, is a prime trade candidate for clubs, such as the Red Sox or Yankees, in need of a rental at the corners.
"It might be a game of 'Who's next,'" Frazier said. "You never know, a flip of a coin or it might be a game of wait and see or it's a game of if they give us something, we'll do something."
Frazier and closer Player Page for David Robertson have been among the most prominent White Sox involved in trade rumors, but general manager Rick Hahn said the club is still "open for business" in terms of making moves after Thursday's deal that sent Quintana to the Cubs in exchange for four prospects. Others, such as Melky Cabrera, Anthony Swarzak or Derek Holland, are on expiring deals and could be rental options for clubs.
Unless it's someone -- Carlos Rodon, Jose Abreu or Tim Anderson -- who is locked down long-term, anyone on the White Sox 25-man roster could find themselves moving. Even they could be gone if the right package comes about.
"I won't be surprised if there is a few more moves," Abreu said through interpreter Billy Russo. "We are buying into this process and you know that's going to be a few situations in there. But this is a process the team -- it's progress to developing. I'm just glad to be here."
White Sox manager Rick Renteria said he spoke with his team before Friday's game against Seattle -- its first since the Quintana deal -- to address the uncertainty of trade season.
"It's going to be there," Renteria said. "That's human nature. That's the natural consequence of the business that we're in, the uncertainty at times of how things are and what the landscape is. They have to control what they can control and prepare every single day."
While Hahn said Quintana admitted the year-long trade rumors had begun to get to him, Frazier said he loves the frenzy the non-waiver Trade Deadline brings.
"The rumors I love, because when people are talking about you most of the time it's usually good things," Frazier said. "If it's a bad thing, then you know what you did wrong inside; then you know you're in trouble. When I'm not in trouble, it's just a rumor. I love to see it."

• Renteria said outfielder Leury Garcia, out since June 15 with a sprained finger on his left hand, has been progressing well at the team's complex in Arizona and could be "a day or two" away from beginning a rehab assignment.
"It took him a little longer than most, I guess," Renteria said. "None of us can measure the tolerance one has in terms of discomfort. You can never question an individual if they say they're uncomfortable doing things."
• Right-hander Dylan Covey threw off a mound prior to Saturday's game against the Mariners, the first time he's done so in his recovery from a left oblique strain suffered on May 23. Renteria said he's progressing well, and that he could begin to ramp up Covey's output soon.
• The White Sox acquired Minor League infielder Yeyson Yrizarri from the Texas Rangers for international signing bonus pool money on Saturday. Yrizarri, a middle infielder who was No. 17 in the Rangers system according to MLB Pipeline, will debut as No. 30 in the White Sox system.
