Minors report: Adolfo earns June honor

CHICAGO -- Micker Adolfo's spectacular June was rewarded as he was named the White Sox Minor League Player of the Month for the second straight time, joining Double-A Birmingham's Jordan Guerrero in honors announced Monday.
Adolfo, an outfielder for Class A Kannapolis and the White Sox No. 21 prospect according to MLBPipeline.com, hit .267 and saw his power numbers surge with eight doubles, eight homers and 28 RBIs in June.
Guerrero went 4-0 with a 1.23 ERA in five June starts, including a shutout on June 13. Guerrero went at least seven innings all but one of those starts, a dominating run on a staff that also includes White Sox No. 2 prospect . The 2017 midseason Southern League All-Star is 4-7 with a 3.51 ERA in the Minors this season.
So who else stood out in the White Sox system?
Jake Burger, Arizona League White Sox
The White Sox 2017 first-round Draft pick joined second-round pick Gavin Sheets in making their pro debuts on Sunday, with Burger going 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI. Burger and Sheets batted third and fourth in the order.
Alec Hansen, Class A Advanced Winston-Salem
Hansen's recent tear has continued even after he earned a promotion up from Kannapolis, as he threw five scoreless innings in his first start and followed it up with five innings of one-run ball on Saturday for the Dash. Hansen is the club's No. 10 prospect according to MLB Pipeline.
Danny Hayes, Triple-A Charlotte
The club's 2013 13th-round selection has homered twice in the last three games and hit at a .314 clip over his last 10 appearances. He's been a regular presence in the order for the Knights, posting a .777 OPS while hitting 15 homers and recording 49 RBIs.
Worth noting
, the No. 1 prospect in baseball, has hit safely in four consecutive games for Triple-A Charlotte to boost his batting average to .281. Moncada has an .830 OPS with 10 homers and 30 RBIs this season.
• Triple-A Charlotte right-hander , the club's No. 4 prospect, got rocked on Sunday in giving up seven runs in 3 2/3 innings. Giolito is 2-8 with a 5.40 ERA in 16 starts for the Knights.
