White Sox top prospect hitting .352

continues to prove why he is widely considered the best prospect in baseball.
The 21-year-old went 3-for-4, including a home run and a double, Sunday afternoon for Triple-A Charlotte in the Knights' 7-1 win over Gwinnett.
The performance raised his season batting average to .352, the third-best mark among all hitters in the International League. The White Sox No. 1 prospect also raised his on-base plus slugging percentage to .992, which ranks fourth in the league.
Moncada, whom the White Sox acquired in an offseason trade with the Red Sox that sent ace left-hander Chris Sale to Boston, is the No. 1 overall prospect, according to MLBPipeline.com.
Moncada has played in just 214 Minor League games, but his impressive numbers at the plate and improvement on defense will make it tough for the White Sox to keep him there for long.
The young infielder has six home runs, 24 runs scored and 11 RBIs in 27 games for Charlotte this year after hitting .294 with 15 homers, 94 runs scored and 62 RBIs in 106 games split between various levels of the Red Sox farm system last season.
