The Pirates on Saturday announced Minor League right-hander Wilkin Ramos as the player to be named from the Nov. 20 trade that sent righty Tanner Anderson to the A's.
The 18-year-old Dominican hurler signed with the A's in July 2017 for $300,000, per Baseball America. He went 3-3 with a 3.15 ERA in 14 appearances (eight starts) spanning 40 innings for the Dominican Summer League Athletics in his first professional action this year.
Anderson, 25, reached the big leagues with the Pirates in 2018, allowing eight earned runs in 11 1/3 relief innings across two stints in July and September. A 20th-round Draft pick out of Harvard in 2015, he owns a 3.24 ERA through four Minor League seasons.
