Yamamoto's cap, Betts' final out glove among WS artifacts headed to Cooperstown

The Dodgers departed Toronto and headed home to Los Angeles on Saturday night as back-to-back World Series champions. But not everything that was a part of their title triumph went west with them.

Instead, some of the Dodgers’ history-making gear went to Cooperstown. Here is the list of things that the team has donated to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum:

• The Game 3 glove of Dodgers reliever Will Klein, who turned himself into an unexpected Fall Classic hero that night.

• A base from that Game 3 thriller.

World Series MVP Yoshinobu Yamamoto’s Game 7 cap.

• The shoes catcher Will Smith was wearing when he hit the series-deciding home run in the 11th inning of Game 7.

• Mookie Betts' Game 7 glove, which he used to start the title-clinching double play.

• Manager Dave Roberts’ road jersey.

• President of baseball operations Andrew Friedman’s championship celebration shirt.

The Dodgers’ victory gave them their third championship of the 2020s and their ninth in franchise history. That’s tied with the A’s and Red Sox for the third-most championships all-time.
