New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone has received a one-game suspension and an undisclosed fine for his actions during his Club's Friday night game against the Detroit Tigers at Yankee Stadium. Joe Torre, Chief Baseball Officer for Major League Baseball, made the announcement.

Boone's suspension will be served this afternoon, when the Yankees are to conclude their series against the Tigers.
