The rise of Carlos Lagrange only continues.
The Yankees' No. 2 prospect (MLB No. 73) made his third start of the season with Scranton Wilkes-Barre on Saturday, and although limited to just 3 1/3 innings, he managed to set a new bar for himself at the Triple-A level.

He also showed off plenty of the velocity that drew so much attention during Spring Training -- both his four-seamer (100.6 mph) and sinker (100.2 mph) averaged triple digits, and 27 of his 43 total fastballs were clocked at or above 100 mph. A further nine hit 102 mph.
Although his command remains a work in progress, the 22-year-old right hander is clearly living up to his highly-touted prospect status.
