The Yankees expect to be without outfielder “for a few weeks” due to his hamstring injury, Aaron Boone said Tuesday during his appearance on the Talkin’ Yanks Podcast.

Grisham, who strained his right hamstring in Friday’s loss to the Blue Jays, was scheduled to undergo imaging on Tuesday. The results of those tests have not been publicly disclosed, but it sounds like New York will be without the two-time Gold Glove winner into July.

Outfielder was activated off the injured list when Grisham landed on the IL on Saturday and was the Yankees' starting right fielder for their final two games in Toronto. However, Domínguez had a tooth pulled earlier on Tuesday, and Boone said no decision has been made regarding his playing status for Tuesday's series opener against the White Sox at Yankee Stadium.

In other injury news, Boone said that left-hander will throw a side session today as the next step in his recovery from a left elbow bone bruise. A recent MRI showed that Fried is healing, and he hasn’t felt any pain while throwing at 120 feet. Fried, who has been out of action since May 13, might return sometime in July.
