Indians outfielder dropped his appeal of a three-game suspension on Monday, and he will miss the next three games. Puig, who was acquired by Cleveland from the Reds at the Trade Deadline, was suspended on Aug. 1 for his role in a benches-clearing incident on July 30, while he was still with Cincinnati.

The Indians, who are tied atop the AL Central with the Twins at 71-47, begin a three-game set against the Red Sox on Monday night in Cleveland.
