Sidelined from April 27-May 27 with a right hand fracture....On the injured list from June 26-July 29 with a left thigh strain....Made his Major League debut on Sept. 2 vs. Kansas City, starting at third base and going 0x2 with two runs scored and two walks...joined Riley Greene as Tigers rookies this season to have two-or-more runs scored and two-or-more walks in their debut...prior to 2022, the only other Tigers rookie to do so was Birdie Tebbetts on Sept. 16, 1936... Recorded the first two hits of his Major League career on September 3 vs. Kansas City...also drove in his first run with a sacrifice fly... Hit the first home run of his big league career in the ninth inning on Sept. 7 at Los Angeles (AL),a go-ahead solo homer...went back-to-back with Kerry Carpenter, marking the first time Tigers rookies have homered in consecutive plate appearances since July 31, 2015 at Baltimore when James McCann and Jefry Marte did so....Drove in a season-high three runs on Sept. 19 at Baltimore... Spent most of the 2021 season with Double-A Erie, before a late season promotion to Triple-A Toledo...Named a Tigers Organization All-Star by MiLB.com...Ranked fifth in Double-A Northeast with 67 runs scored...Went a perfect 4x4 with a run scored May 23 vs. Binghamton...Finished the month of August hitting .323/.405/.521 with seven doubles, four home runs and 10 RBI in 26 games between Erie and Toledo... Appeared in three games with Salt River in the Arizona Fall League and went 2-for-10 with a run scored.

Began his professional career in 2019, playing in 60 games with Single A Connecticut...Finished a home run shy of the cycle on July 6 vs. Vermont, going 4x6 with a double, a triple and a RBI...Hit .299/.380/.471 with six doubles, three triples, one home run and 11 RBI in 23 games during July.
