In 2007 the Twins, in partnership with the Minnesota News Network (now Learfield Communications), assumed control and development of the Twins Radio Network with Treasure Island Resort & Casino becoming the first-ever naming rights partner for the network in 2009. Historically, the Treasure Island Baseball Network has been one of the largest in all of Major League Baseball with hometown radio partners bringing Twins baseball to fans across five states. The Treasure Island Baseball Network has grown to include 81 stations and 106 signals throughout Twins Territory.
The Twins affiliates provide listeners throughout their respective listening areas with pre-game shows, play-by-play action and post-game analysis. Most affiliates will carry all 162 regular season game broadcasts, a number of broadcasts originating from Spring Training as well as exclusive Twins-related programs including "Inside Twins" which air Sunday afternoons beginning 1 hour prior to that day's first pitch.
