Enjoyed a successful season with High-A Fort Wayne, San Diego's MWL affiliate, in his first stint in professional baseball...Suffered another left elbow injury and underwent his second career Tommy John surgery that fall...Made three starts and five relief appearances with the TinCaps, turning in a 1.86 ERA (six ER/29.0 IP) with 41 strikeouts and just 12 walks...Was placed on Fort Wayne's seven-day injured list on Aug. 20.
