12TH ANNUAL LOS ANGELES DODGERS FOUNDATION SUNSET RUN RETURNS TO DODGER STADIUM
Event proceeds will aid ongoing wildfire recovery, providing food assistance
to impacted Angelenos
Over 3,500 nonprofit participants, including youth from Students Run LA and Dodgers Dreamteam, will take part in this year’s run at a reduced rate or no cost
LOS ANGELES (Sept. 25, 2025) – The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) will welcome back nearly 40,000 runners, yoga enthusiasts, and Dodger fans for the 12th annual LADF Sunset Run, a one-of-a-kind evening set against the iconic backdrops of Dodger Stadium and the Los Angeles skyline. Proudly presented by Bank of America, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP), Security Benefit, UCLA Health, and Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation, this year’s run will raise vital funds to support Angelenos impacted by the Eaton and Palisades wildfires.
On Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, registrants will participate in a Health + Wellness Expo featuring various vendors, take in sweeping views of Los Angeles on a course that circles the iconic stadium, and step onto the outfield for a guided yoga session. Race day will once again feature the signature 5K, 10K, and Kids Fun Run events. While the run has reached full capacity, limited spots remain for Yoga on the Field. More information is available at Dodgers.com/run.
“The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Sunset Run has become a true source of pride for our community, bringing people together to run for one another and the issues that matter most,” said Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation CEO Nichol Whiteman. “This year, every registration will help organizations supporting Angelenos affected by the Eaton and Palisades wildfires.”
Proceeds from the 2025 LADF Sunset Run will be directed to the Foundation’s ongoing relief efforts, with a focus on addressing food insecurity among families still recovering from recent wildfires. Additionally, 3,500 youth runners from Students Run LA and more than 500 youth from Dodgers Dreamteam and nonprofit partners will participate in this year’s run at a reduced rate or no cost, ensuring that the event is accessible and used as a convening for continued change.
Before the sunset races begin, high schoolers from John Muir High School will perform the National Anthem. Along the course, runners will enjoy live performances from the Mighty Marching Pilots of Banning High School, the Inglewood High School Marching Band, and the Woodcraft Rangers Folklorico at State Street Elementary. DJs will keep the energy high throughout, and participants will finish their race day with a cool-down lap on the Dodger Stadium warning track.
All registered runners will receive a Dodgers ’25 tech shirt, finisher’s medal, race bib with chip timing, and a Yoshinobu Yamamoto limited-edition Run bobblehead. The 2024 World Series Trophy will also be on display for photo opportunities with participants and fans.
Event sponsors include Archer Meat Snacks, Budweiser, Dasani, and Melissa's. Golden Road Brewing will once again provide a Beer Garden for runners 21 and older.
Registered runners are encouraged to pick up their race packets onsite between 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the Centerfield Plaza, where the Health + Wellness Expo will be open.
