Media outlets may now apply for Tampa Bay Rays full-season credentials and spring training daily credentials by visiting the Rays event page at credentials.mlb.com.
Full-season credentials will again be accepted for both spring training at Charlotte Sports Park and regular season at Tropicana Field. Credential pick up information will be provided at a later time.
Please note: Major League Baseball is not providing 2018 Spring Training Universal credentials to any media members except for rightsholders.
CREDENTIALS
• All credentials (daily and full-season) for spring training and regular season must be applied through credentials.mlb.com. Email, phone and walk-up requests will not be accepted.
• Requests must be made 24 hours prior to the start of the game.
• All requests must come from either the affiliate's sports director or editor, and include a headshot and email address.
• Media will be notified of their status via email within 10 days of applying. REGULAR SEASON GAME DAYS
• All media members must access Tropicana Field through Gate 4.
• NEW FOR 2018: Daily credentials must be picked up by each individual media member at Window 14 at the Gate 4 Box Office. Credentials are available 3-1/2 hours prior to game time until the end of the 1st inning.
• Please bring the acceptance letter with you as a receipt when picking up your credential.
• Credentials may not be picked up without a license or passport and may not be picked up in groups. TROPICANA FIELD PHOTOGRAPHY • Primary field access for all photographers will be through the home dugout tunnel located on the first base side on Level 1. Photographer well access is through Section 110 (first base side) or Section 109 (third base side). If large equipment is being used, please contact a member of the communications staff for further direction.
• Photographers may change shooting positions only between innings. Photographers are not allowed onto the field of play during the game. PARKING
• Spring training: Free parking is available to media on the grass directly behind the paved lots of the main ballpark entrance (driveway on third base side). The lot can be accessed with a media credential (Rays or affiliate).
• Regular season: Media parking at Tropicana Field is Lot 2 which is located off 16th St. S., directly behind Lot 1 and across the street from the Media Gate (Gate 4). Lot 2 can be accessed with a credential (Rays or affiliate).
