2020 60-Game Colorado Rockies Schedule Announced

July 6th, 2020

Rockies will open the 2020 season at Texas on July 24 with the Home Opener on July 31 vs. San Diego

DENVER – In collaboration with Major League Baseball, the Colorado Rockies announced today the 2020 60-game schedule.

After two exhibition games in Arlington against the Texas Rangers on July 21 and 22, the Rockies will open the 2020 regular season on July 24 at Texas, the first regular season game at the Rangers’ new Globe Life Field. After three games at Texas and two at Oakland, the Rockies will return home for the Home Opener at Coors Field on July 31 vs. the San Diego Padres.

In the abbreviated season, the Rockies will play 40 games against divisional opponents and 20 games against the American League West Division. The Rockies will host Arizona three times, Los Angeles-NL four times, San Diego seven times and San Francisco six times.

AT&T SportsNet will air all 60 Rockies regular season games, while the August 31 game against the San Diego Padres will also be carried by ESPN.

The Rockies’ hope is to allow a limited number of fans to attend 2020 home games at Coors Field, and to that end, we have been working with city and state health officials, as well as Major League Baseball, to finalize a plan that adheres to strict health protocols and ensures fan safety.
