A's option RHP Dull to Las Vegas, place RHP Bassitt and 1B Olson on injured list

The Oakland A’s optioned right-handed pitcher Ryan Dull to Triple-A Las Vegas, the club announced today. The A’s also placed right-handed pitcher Chris Bassitt (right lower leg contusion) and first baseman Matt Olson (right hand surgery) on the 10-day injured list.

Dull was on the A’s active roster for the two games against Seattle in Japan, and appeared in one of those contests, allowing three runs on two hits in 0.2 innings last Wednesday. Bassitt was one of three inactive players in Japan and went 1-1 with a 5.40 ERA in four games, including one start, this spring. Olson injured his hand last Thursday against Seattle in Tokyo on a foul tip in his final at bat and had right hamate excision surgery the next day. He started each of the A’s first two games at first base and went 1-for-5.
