MESA, Ariz. – The Oakland A’s optioned right-handed pitcher Grant Holmes, infielder Jorge Mateo and outfielders Luis Barrera and Syke Bolt to Triple-A Las Vegas, the club announced today. The A’s also reassigned left-handed pitchers Dean Kiekhefer and Kyle Lobstein, right-handed pitchers Parker Bridwell, Jake Buchanan, Kyle Finnegan, Miguel Romero and Norge Ruiz, catchers Jonah Heim and Beau Taylor and infielder Corban Joseph to their minor league camp

The A’s now have 45 players in camp plus two on the 60-day disabled list. That includes 35 players on the 40-man roster, which is full, and 10 non-roster invitees. The breakdown includes 25 pitchers, four catchers, nine infielders and seven outfielders.
