The Angels host their fourth homestand of the year from May 15 – May 24. The homestand will begin with a three-game series against the Dodgers, followed by a four-game series against the Athletics, and conclude with a three-game set against the Rangers. The 10 consecutive games will be the longest homestand for the Angels in 2026. Below is a look at the notable events and ceremonies taking place at Angel Stadium over the next homestand.
IN THE COMMUNITY
- On Monday, May 18, a player will visit Adams Elementary School in Costa Mesa as part of the Angels Adopt-A-School program.
- Also on Monday, May 18, the Angels will host Community Roots Academy students to display and present their projects on sustainability prior to the game. Students, along with family and friends, are invited to stay for the game that evening with tickets donated through the Angels Community Ticket Program.
- On Tuesday, May 19, players and Angels broadcaster Mark Gubicza will make an appearance during the OC GRIP (Orange County Gang Reduction & Intervention Partnership) event at Angel Stadium. The Angels will host over 1,600 students to recognize and reward students for their behavior and participation in their OC GRIP programs. Following the program, students will stay for the evening’s game.
- On Friday, May 22, players will visit MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital to meet and greet with patients and their families.
ARMED FORCES WEEKEND
- From May 15-17, the Angels will celebrate Armed Forces Weekend at Angel Stadium. On May 16, Angel Stadium will host a military salute and recognize members of the Armed Forces in-game.
PREGAME CEREMONIES
- On Monday, May 18, Angels employees and former Katy Feeney Award winners Suzanne Peters and Shanelle Stephens will be recognized on-field in a pregame ceremony.
- On Friday, May 22, Angels Field/Ground Maintenance Manager Barney Lopas will be recognized prior to the game for his 30 years of service with the Angels organization.
MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS
- On Wednesday, May 20, the Halo on the Big A will turn green and Angels players will wear a green ribbon on their jerseys in support of mental health awareness.
TAIWANESE HERITAGE NIGHT
- On Wednesday, May 20, the Angels will celebrate Taiwanese Heritage Night at Angel Stadium. Prior to the game, there will be a Taiwanese Heritage Village in the Gate 5 Courtyard featuring music, food trucks, and a jersey redemption for fans that purchased a Heritage Night ticket package. There will also be a pregame dance performance on the field and in-game group recognition.
HEALTHCARE APPRECIATION NIGHT
- On Thursday, May 21, the Angels will recognize healthcare workers in-game for their work.
MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND
- On Wednesday, May 20, Angels players and staff will be attending Fleet Week to tour the USS Essex, as well as visit military officials who serve our nation.
- On Saturday, May 23, the Angels will host Military Appreciation Night at Angel Stadium. Former and active military members will be specially recognized in-game. Prior to the game, there will be an unfurling of a giant American flag on the field held by 250 military veterans and their families representing all branches. Additionally, the National Anthem and 7th inning stretch will be performed by a Military member.
SATURDAY NIGHT FIREWORKS
- Fans in attendance of the Saturday night games on May 16 and May 23 will be treated to a postgame firework show driven by your SoCal Hyundai Dealers.
BANDS AT THE BIG A
- On Saturday, May 23, the Angels will host a local band that will play a 15-minute set before first pitch, as well as songs during and after the game.
BROADCAST SCHEDULE
- On Friday, May 15, the Angels game against the Dodgers will be simulcast locally in Southern California on KTTV.
- The remainder of the Dodgers series and the first game against the Athletics, from May 16 through May 18, will be simulcast locally on KCOP-13. The full list of this season’s simulcast over-the-air broadcasts can be found at Angels.com/watch.
- On Sunday, May 24, the Angels game against the Rangers will be nationally broadcast on Peacock and NBCSN.
LITTLE LEAGUE SUNDAY
- Prior to the game on Sunday, May 24, there will be a Little League parade along the outfield warning track for local players from around Southern California.
