Astros Foundation hosts inaugural Safe at Home Luncheon and Style Show

The event raised more than $200,000, benefiting the Astros Foundation’s domestic violence education and awareness efforts

HOUSTON -- Today, the Astros Foundation hosted its inauguralSafe at Home Luncheon and Style Show. More than 300 esteemed guests were in attendance, including Astros Owner and Chairman Jim Crane and his wife Whitney, Astros players and wives, notable Houstonians and sponsors and Texas Council on Family Violence Region 7 agencies. 

The event was emceed by AT&T SportsNet sideline reporter Julia Morales Clarkand included a VIP reception, a heartfelt story from guest speaker Judge Lincoln Goodwin and a style show, presented by Tootsies, that included Astros wives and children as clothing models. More than $200,000were raised to benefit the Astros Foundation and their efforts to grow awareness and education on domestic violence.
