Astros Partner with Uber to Provide New Pickup and Dropoff Location

The Houston Astros are partnering with Uber for the upcoming season as a way to connect fans to a safe and convenient way to get to and from Minute Maid Park.
All season long, fans can utilize the dedicated Uber pickup and dropoff area, located outside of the center field gate on Crawford Street between Preston Street and Congress Avenue.  
"Partnering with Uber is another investment in our fans and the fan experience," said Senior VP of Corporate Partnerships Matt Brand. "With Uber as our official ridesharing partner, fans now have an easier way to get to and from the ballpark on game day."
"We are excited to team up with the Astros to make sure fans have access to a safe, reliable ride to and from the ballpark," said David Brightman, General Manager of Uber's Houston operations. "Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for fans to enjoy game day. With Uber, getting a ride is as simple as tapping a button."
