Today's game will be made up tomorrow as part of a doubleheader which will begin at 1:10pm PT in Chicago. The originally scheduled contest will begin at 5:10 p.m. PT, or 30 minutes following conclusion of the opener.
Weather permitting, the rest of the series against the White Sox will continue as planned on Saturday and Sunday before the Athletics travel to Detroit for a four-game set with the Tigers.
