This week, the Phillies host the Miami Marlins (September 14-16) followed by the New York Mets (September 17-19) at Citizens Bank Park. Below are the top things to know.
On Friday, September 14, fans are in for some scary good fun at the Phillies Halloween Night at the 7:05 p.m. Phillies-Marlins game. Fans are encouraged to dress up in their best Halloween costumes. There will be a kid-friendly haunted house in the Phanatic Phun Zone behind Section 112, weather permitting. Plus, fans purchasing tickets through the Theme Nights Page will receive an exclusive Phanatic Mask.
Prior to Friday's game, the National Liberty Museum Award of Valor, presented by Chevrolet, will be given to Philadelphia Fire Lieutenant Alan Westfield of Squad 72, Philadelphia Police Sergeant Maureen Carroll of the Special Victims Unit and Philadelphia Police Officer Christopher Binns of the SWAT Unit. Phillies' Rhys Hoskins will join the award recipients on-field. This award honors extraordinary police officers and firefighters in the tri-state area who have made an impact in their communities through their heroics and bravery.
Additionally, William deVry, who stars as Julian Jerome on "General Hospital," will throw out a ceremonial first pitch as part of Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation Night.
Friday is also Cabrini University Night! Cabrini cheerleaders will be at the First Base Gate Plaza prior to the game and on-field with Cabrini's Cavalier. Plus, the Cabrini Dance Team will perform with the Phanatic in the fifth inning.
On Saturday, September 15, fans will be treated to the 10th annual German Heritage Celebration at the 7:05 p.m. Phillies game against the Marlins. Highlights include live music and dancing, and a taste of Germany can be found at the "break" area behind Pavilion Section 210 featuring a beer braised bratwurst and a black forest cupcake. Former NFL player and accordionist, Don Bitterlich, will roam the concourse playing his accordion pregame and German men's chorus, Franklinville-Schwarzwald Männerchor directed by Mark Fairchild, will perform the national anthem. Plus, fans purchasing tickets through the Theme Nights Page will receive Phillies German Heritage Celebration Lederhosen socks.
During the game, be on the lookout for members of the Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League on-field with the Phanatic!
Also on Saturday, wounded veterans and pilots from Patient AirLift Services (PALS) for Patriots will be introduced on-field. PALS is a program that transports service men and women to receive life-saving care and life-changing services. PALS also partners with Major League Baseball to fly veterans from Walter Reed Army Medical Center to baseball games.
On Sunday, September 16, fans can visit the Phillies Charities, Inc. Jersey Sale at the First Base Gate Plaza to purchase signed and unsigned, new, team-issued and game-used jerseys before and during the 1:35 p.m. Phillies-Marlins game. The sale begins when gates open at 12:05 p.m. and continues until the fifth inning or while supplies last.
On Monday, September 17, the Phillies along with the Sforzando Music Group will host the fourth annual Phillies Band Night at the 7:05 p.m. Phillies-Mets game. Bands from the following schools will perform together pregame on Citizens Bank Way: AMP Colorguard - Camden, NJ; Chestnut Ridge Middle School - Sewell, NJ; Delsea Regional High School - Franklinville, NJ; Exeter Senior High School - Reading, PA; Gateway Regional High School - Woodbury Heights, NJ; Hammonton High School - Hammonton, NJ; Lower Cape May Regional High School - Cape May, NJ; Marlton Middle School - Marlton, NJ; Penncrest High School - Media, PA; Richard M. Teitelman Middle School - Cape May, NJ; Ridley High School - Folsom, PA; Washington Township High School - Sewell, NJ; and Whitehall High School - Whitehall, PA.
The Washington Township High School Minutemen Marching Band will also perform a 10-minute pregame show on-field and the Penncrest Roaring Lions Marching Band will perform the national anthem.
Plus, the Philadelphia Orchestra Quartet directed by Philip Kates will perform "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" as part of the Philadelphia Orchestra's fourth annual Audience Appreciation Day.
Monday is also Drexel University Night! Drexel's Mario the Magnificent will welcome Zeena Patel, Drexel Pre-Junior and Special Events Co-Op, who will throw out a ceremonial first pitch on behalf of Drexel University. Plus, the Drexel University Dance Team will perform with the Phanatic in the fifth inning.
On Tuesday, September 18, fans will be treated to the 12th annual Irish Heritage Celebration presented by Aer Lingus  at the 7:05 p.m. Phillies game versus the Mets. Highlights include live music and dancing and a taste of Ireland can be found at the "break" area behind Pavilion Section 210. Local Irish rock and party band Shenanigans will perform in Ashburn Alley from 5:00-6:30 p.m. and Irish dancers from Riley Irish Dance School, McDade-Cara School of Irish Dance and Peters School of Irish Dance will dance on-field as Celtic music group RUNA performs. RUNA will also perform the national anthem and the Atlantic City Fire Department Sand Pipers Pipes and Drums will perform in centerfield. Plus, fans purchasing tickets through the Theme Nights Page will receive a Phillies Irish Heritage Celebration Hat.
On Wednesday, September 19, fans are invited to Dominican Night presented by Dominican Republic at the 6:05 p.m. Phillies-Mets game. Tu Kan Tipico from Santiago, Dominican Republic, will perform on-field from 5:35-5:45 p.m. and Phillies players from Dominican Republic will be recognized.
Gate Openings: Ashburn Alley opens two hours prior to game time; all other gates open one and a half hours prior to game time.
