The Toronto Blue Jays have recalled 1B/3B Matt Dominguez from Buffalo of the International League (AAA). RHP Drew Hutchison has been optioned to the Bisons.
Dominguez, 26, has appeared in 17 games for Buffalo this season, batting .311 with two home runs and 14 RBI. The first round pick (12th overall) by Florida in 2007 has posted a .233 career average with 42 home runs in 357 Major League games (FLA & HOU) over four seasons.
