Braves add Tamin and Parè to Baseball Operations staff

Atlanta Braves executive vice president and general manager Alex Anthopoulos today announced the hiring of Alex Tamin as director, Major League operations and Jason Parè as assistant general manager, research and development.

Atlanta Braves Executive Vice President and General Manager Alex Anthopoulos today announced the hiring of Alex Tamin as director, Major League operations and Jason Parè as assistant general manager, research and development. 
Tamin previously served as director of baseball operations with the Los Angeles Dodgers, where he had worked since 2011. He was originally hired by the Dodgers as director of baseball contracts, research and operations.
Tamin, who earned his law degree from U.C.L.A. in 1995, garnered 15 years of experience working with multiple Major League teams in arbitration cases.
Parè had worked as senior director of analytics for the Miami Marlins since 2016. He also served as an analyst with the Cleveland Indians for six seasons (2008-13) and Toronto Blue Jays for two (2014-15).
