Cardinals Claim Third Baseman Bryan Ramos

ST. LOUIS, MO., February 6, 2026 – The St. Louis Cardinals announced today that they have claimed third baseman Bryan Ramos off waivers from the Baltimore Orioles.

Ramos, 23, originally signed with the Chicago White Sox as an international free-agent in July 2018. The right-handed hitter has appeared in 36 Major League games with Chicago over the last two seasons, including making his Major League debut on May 4, 2024 against the Cardinals at Busch Stadium.

Ramos has totaled 80 career home runs in 560 minor league games in the White Sox system, including 16 last season at Charlotte (AAA).

The Havana, Cuba native was designated for assignment in January 2026 and recently traded to Baltimore for cash considerations.

The Cardinals 40-player roster moves to 40 with the addition of Ramos, who has been assigned uniform no. 29.
