The Colorado Rockies announced Friday that they have recalled right-handed pitcher Jeff Hoffman from Triple-A Albuquerque and placed left-handed reliever Mike Dunn on the 10-day disabled list with left rhomboid stain.
 
•  Hoffman, 25, will be making his first stint on the Rockies' active roster this season … in 11 starts for Triple-A Albuquerque this season has gone 3-4 with 4.39 ERA (53.1 IP, 26 ER), 25 walks and 63 strikeouts … started the season on the 10-day disabled list with right shoulder inflammation and made one rehab start with High-A Lancaster on April 10 … was reinstated and optioned to Triple-A on April 28 … over 23 starts, 16 games last season with the Rockies went 6-5 with a 5.89 ERA (99.1 IP, 65 ER) … the Latham, N.Y., native made his Major League debut on August 20, 2016 vs. Chicago-NL and across two seasons with Colorado, is 6-9 with a 5.65 ERA (130.2 IP, 82 ER), 57 walks and 104 strikeouts. • Dunn, 33, has gone 0-0 with a 9.00 ERA (16.0 IP, 16 ER), 17 walks and 12 strikeouts over 23 games this season … across parts of 10 Major League seasons with New York-AL (2009), Atlanta (2010), Miami (2011-16) and Colorado (2017-18), the Farmington, N.M., native has gone 33-26 with four saves, a 3.86 ERA (417.1 IP, 179 ER), 217 walks and 458 strikeouts over 535 games.
