Cubs set 2019 Opening Day roster
The Chicago Cubs have set their Opening Day 25-man roster in advance of their 2019 season opener today at the Texas Rangers.
The Cubs have placed three players on the 10-day injured list: right-handed pitcher Tony Barnette (right shoulder inflammation), left-handed pitcher Xavier Cedeño (left wrist inflammation) and right-handed pitcher Brandon Morrow (continued rehab from offseason right elbow debridement). All three injured list stints are retroactive to March 25.
