The Arizona Diamondbacks agreed to terms with RHP Michael Soroka on a 1-year contract with a mutual option. To make room on the 40-man roster, RHP Bryce Jarvis was designated for assignment.

- Has made 3 career Postseason appearances with the Cubs (2 G in 2025) and Braves (1 GS in 2019).
- 2019 NL All-Star, 2019 All-MLB Second Team and 2019 NL Rookie of the Year runner-up with the Braves after a career-best 13-4 with a 2.68 ERA (52 ER in 174.2 IP), opponent .236 AVG, 41 walks and 142 strikeouts in 29 starts with the Braves…in Rookie of the Year voting, was second behind Pete Alonso/NYMand ahead of Fernando Tatis Jr./SD and Bryan Reynolds/PIT.
