PHOENIX -- The Arizona Diamondbacks have teamed up with GEICO to provide military and first responders with discounted tickets to all 81 D-backs home games at Chase Field. All current, former or retired military and first responders can receive up to 50 percent savings on D-backs home games at dbacks.com/military, with service verification provided by GovX.
"We are proud to offer our service men and women savings on tickets to every one of our home games this season," said D-backs President & CEO Derrick Hall. "In the past we offered discounts to limited games and while the results were very positive, we are excited to extend this offer to every game for our local heroes."
D-backs legend Luis Gonzalez has launched the Gonzo's Hometown Heroes Fund to benefit projects, programs and nonprofit organizations that support police officers, firefighters and first responders across Arizona. A portion of the proceeds from the new Gonzo's Grill, presented by Tyson Foods, at Chase Field will benefit Gonzo's Hometown Heroes Fund. The D-backs will also host Hometown Heroes Weekend on July 6-8 in which a portion of ticket sales through this promotion will benefit Gonzo's Hometown Heroes Fund.
In addition, the D-backs will pay tribute to the military at the Fourth of July game vs. Cardinals and will honor our fallen heroes during the D-backs vs. Reds game on Memorial Day (May 28) and will give away 20,000 Memorial Day Camo Caps, courtesy of Sanderson Ford.
