Arizona Diamondbacks Events & Entertainment off to a fast start

April 30th, 2019

PHOENIX – Arizona Diamondbacks Events & Entertainment (ADEE) is off to a fast start in 2019 hosting WWE’s Royal Rumble in January and a Billy Joel concert in March. On the heels of the success of those large-scale, ticketed events, ADEE is primed to make Chase Field a one-stop-shop in the heart of downtown Phoenix for all non-baseball events such as large luncheons, conferences, corporate outings, corporate parties, non-profit fundraisers and trade shows.

ADEE worked closely with WWE to bring Royal Rumble to Chase Field hosting more than 48,000 fans for the seven-hour event in January and in March, Live Nation and ADEE welcomed 40,964 Billy Joel fans. With the overwhelming success both events drew to downtown Phoenix, ADEE is ready for all non-baseball event opportunities in 2019 and looking to book additional large-scale, ticketed events in 2020 and beyond.

This offseason, the D-backs made improvements to Chase Field by installing Shaw’s B1K synthetic grass that will allow for more flexibility in scheduling non-baseball events. ADEE and Chase Field provides the unique ability to utilize Arizona Diamondbacks in-house assets to serve as a one-stop-shop for non-baseball events, including audio and visual needs, catering, security, creative services, marketing and communications.

Each space at Chase Field is customizable and can be tailored to every event’s needs. With a retractable roof or an option for a fully air-conditioned, closed space, Chase Field provides ample room for large-scale events, such as luncheons on the field, trade shows, an industry conference or non-profit fundraisers throughout the stadium. Chase Field also has event spaces for smaller-scale events such as corporate outings and business meetings.
