D-backs reinstate Rubby De La Rosa from the 10-day disabled list

The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated RHP Rubby De La Rosa from the 10-day disabled list (right shoulder inflammation).

The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated RHP Rubby De La Rosa from the 10-day disabled list (right shoulder inflammation). Following last night's game, the D-backs optioned RHP J.J. Hoover to Triple-A Reno.
De La Rosa, 28, was placed on the disabled list on July 6, and made 3 total rehab appearances with Rookie AZL D-backs and Reno (2 ER in 3.0 IP). In 6 appearances with the D-backs this season, De La Rosa has held opponents scoreless 5 times (5.40 ERA; 3 ER in 5.0 IP), and is averaging 14.40 strikeouts-per-9.0-innings (8 SO).
Hoover, 29, was 1-1 with a 4.82 ERA (15 ER in 28.0 IP) in 36 games in his first season with the D-backs in 2017. He ranks sixth in the National League with 12.86 strikeouts-per-9.0-innings (40 SO).
