Recalled from Triple-A Reno:
INF Jose Fernandez (No. 11) MiLB Bio
- First Major League call-up.
- Rated by MLB Pipeline as the D-backs’ No. 27 prospect.
- Made his season and Triple-A debut as Reno’s starting designated hitter on Sunday.
- In 10 Spring Training games (4 starts) with Arizona this year, hit .280 (7-for-25)/1.148 OPS with 3 doubles, 1 triple, 3 homers and 7 RBI…made 6 appearances at shortstop and 5 at third base.
- Earned All First-Team honors at shortstop in MLB’s annual Spring Breakout prospect game after going 3-for-3 with 1 triple and 3 RBI.
- In 2025, over 122 games with Double-A Amarillo, hit .272 (128-for-471)/.775 OPS with 27 doubles, 4 triples, 17 homers and 80 RBI.
- The Venezuela native was signed by Arizona in 2021 as a non-drafted free agent.
