The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that Arizona Diamondbacks Minor League catcher Jose Herrera has received a 50-game suspension without pay after testing positive for Methylhexaneamine and Oxilofrine, stimulants in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
The suspension of Herrera, who is currently on the roster of the Single-A Kane County Cougars of the Midwest League, is effective immediately.
