Dodgers Lhp Julio Urías Reinstated

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers left-handed pitcher Julio Urías was reinstated from administrative leave today and outfielder Kyle Garlick was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Urías, 22, has appeared in nine games (four starts) this season. He is 2-2 with a 3.18 ERA (10 ER/28.1 IP) with 32 strikeouts. He recorded his first career save on May 6 against the Braves and is 2-for-2 in save chances. In his four-year MLB career, he is a combined 7-6 with a 3.60 ERA (53 ER/132.2 IP) in 35 games (24 starts). 

Garlick made his Major League debut on Sunday with a fly out to left field. The former 28th round selection of the 2015 First-Year Player Draft out of Cal Poly Pomona had his contract purchased for the first time in his career on Friday. In five minor league seasons, he is a combined .283 (431-for-1525) with 78 homers and 244 RBI across five different levels.
