LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled right-handed pitcher Kyle Hurt and placed left-handed pitcher Justin Wrobleski on the injured list with left forearm inflammation.
Hurt, 28, rejoins the squad and he is 3-1 with a 4.46 ERA this season and 46 strikeouts in 38.1 innings. He has been with the Dodgers for three seasons, compiling a 3.83 ERA with 52 strikeouts in 47.0 innings. The Southern California native was originally drafted by the Marlins in the fifth round of the 2020 First Year Player Draft out of the University of Southern California.
Wrobleski, 26, pitched last night, allowing four runs in six innings. He is 11-5 with a 3.56 ERA on the campaign, and he is third in the NL with 1.99 walks per nine innings. The All-Star has been with the Dodgers three seasons, collecting a 17-12 record with a 4.12 ERA in 53 games (28 starts). He was drafted by the Dodgers in the 11th round of the 2021 First Year Player Draft out of Oklahoma State University.
