Dodgers Recall Paul Gervase

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled right-handed pitcher Paul Gervase and optioned right-handed pitcher Emmet Sheehan.

Gervase, 26, has appeared in 31 games for Triple-A Oklahoma City, going 2-1 with a 4.86 ERA . He has made four appearances for Los Angeles this season, firing 7.2 innings with eight strikeouts and a 2.35 ERA. He has appeared in 10 Major Legue games in his career, posting a 3.38 ERA with 16 strikeouts in 16.0 innings. The 6-foot, 10-inch hurler was drafted by the New York Mets in the 12th round of the 2022 First Year Player Draft out of Louisiana State University.

Sheehan, 26, returned on Tuesday but did not appear in a game for the Dodgers. He is 4-8 with the Dodgers in 2026, posting a career-high 20 starts, racking up 108 strikeouts in 95.1 innings and recording a 1.29 WHIP. He is in third season with the Dodgers, recording a 4.40 ERA with a 14-12 record in 48 games (43 starts). He was drafted by the Dodgers in the sixth round of the 2021 First Year Player Draft out of Boston College.
