LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers signed right-handed pitcher Jake Cousins. In order to make room on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers transferred right-handed pitcher Bobby Miller to the 60-day injured list.
Cousins, 31, went 2-1 with a 2.37 ERA in 2024 with the New York Yankees. He spent the 2025 season on the injured list with a right flexor strain. He has been in the Major Leagues four seasons with the Milwaukee Brewers (2021-23) and Yankees (2024-25), going a combined 5-2 with a 2.78 ERA in 88 games alongside 125 strikeouts in 90.2 innings. He was drafted in the 20th round of the 2017 First Year Player Draft out of the University of Pennsylvania.
