Enny Romero has been placed on the 10-day disabled list retroactive to April 26 with left shoulder impingement.
The club's original intent was to designate Romero for assignment, however the club was informed by the player and his representative prior to executing the designation that Romero had suffered an injury to his pitching shoulder in his most recent outing and is unable to perform at his accustomed level.
